Christeen was born January 15, 1922 in Flint, Michigan to Archie and Vila 'Perkins' Wendel. She was raised in Flint and married Sam Vejnovich on June 7, 1941. The couple lived in Michigan until they retired and moved to Florida. They had been married for 56 years before Sam passed away on February 8, 1997. Christeen continued to live in Florida until moving to Fremont in 2011 to be closer to her son. Christeen was very devoted to her family.

Son – Dave and wife Julie Vejnovich of Fremont
Grandson – Chris Vejnovich and great grandson Samuel of Lincoln
Granddaughter – Sara and husband Darrell Jones of Omaha
Brother-in-law – Frank and wife Marianne Vejnovich of Michigan
Sister-in-law – Mildred Clifford of Michigan
Christeen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Sam Jr., 2 sisters Imogean and husband Norman Williams, Marjorie and husband Wallace Williams, and brother-in-law Bernard Vejnovich.
There will be no local services. Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
