Ella Mohl was born Nov. 21, 1919 in the rural Bancroft, NE. area, where she grew up and worked on the family farm. She married John Carlson on January 11, 1945. They farmed near Lyons, NE. until 1960, when they moved to the Hooper area. She worked at the former Campbell Soup Company in Fremont for many years and at Logan View Jr.-Sr. High School until her retirement.

She is survived by her children; Marleen Carlson of Hooper; Nancy (Stan) Jahn of Fremont; Steve Carlson of Hooper; Dave (Jacque) Carlson of Red Oak, Iowa; Duane (Deb) Carlson of Omaha and daughter-in-law Barb Carlson of Hooper. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sister Florence Erickson of Oakland, brother Robert (Gladys) Mohl of West Point, 2 sisters-in-law Maxine Ibsen of Fremont and Eunice Mohl of Norfolk, many nieces and nephews.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, son Darrell Carlson, 3 brothers and a sister.

The family is honoring Ella's request that there will be no funeral service. The burial will be in the Hooper Cemetery with a private family service at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
