John Brown, age 49, of Fremont,
died Tuesday in Dunklau Gardens (Merrick Manor)

John was born May 12, 1965 in Fremont to Ivan and Janice (Weander) Brown. He grew up in Fremont, graduating from Fremont High School. He served the Nebraska National Guard.

John was a meat cutter, having worked for the Fremont Meat Market, and also for the Corner Bar in downtown Fremont. He enjoyed cooking, and having fun with his friends and family. He always brought laughter into any group he happened to be with.

3 sisters – Kathy Brown of Fremont
Vicki Long & John Knipple of Fremont
Patti Kucera of Cedar Bluffs
brother – Kevin Brown & Penny Johnson of Lake Norden, South Dakota
7 nieces and nephews
5 great nieces and nephews
countless friends
He was preceded in death by his father Ivan, his grandparents Everett and Wilma Brown and Art and Alma Weander, a special friend Chuck Casey.

A memorial service will be 2 PM Friday at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel, Fremont, with the Rev. Lee Weander. There is no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Make A Wish Foundation.

There will also be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, December 28th, at the Corner Bar (downtown Fremont) from 1 to 6 PM.
