Died Friday December 5, 2014
at Nye Legacy Health and Rehab in Fremont.
Sylvia Lallman was born November 17, 1917 on a farm near Telbasta, Nebraska to Gottlieb and Caroline 'Christensen' Lallman. She attended Telbasta School, Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Hooper High School in 1936. Sylvia attended Wayne State Teacher's College and Midland Lutheran College. She taught school in Washington, Dodge and Burt Counties for several years.
Sylvia married Marvin E. Sagehorn of Hampton, Nebraska on December 28, 1945. They made their home in St. Louis, Missouri for two years and then returned to the family farm near Telbasta. Marvin died May 15, 1967. Sylvia was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lydia Circle, LWML, and the Sewing Group. She had taught Sunday School for many years and served on various committees. She had been a member of the Pleasant Hour Club of Telbasta.

Sons – David and wife Sharon Sagehorn of Nickerson
Ronald and wife Coni of Omaha
Dale and wife Patricia of Fremont
Darrell and wife Barbara of Frisco, Texas
Daughter – Carolyn and husband Todd Fredericksen of Fremont
15 grandchildren
29 great grandchildren
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, infant grandson, and a step-grandson.
The funeral will be 10:30am Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church east of Winslow. The Rev. Jonathan Ripke will officiate. The burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Hour Ministries. Visitation will be Monday from 3pm to 8pm with the family receiving friends from 6pm to 8pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont.
