Florence was born January 14, 1917 in North Bend, Nebraska to Richard and Barbara 'Glynn' Watchorn. Later, the family moved to a Fremont area farm. While on the farm Florence worked for several Fremont area families. Florence remained on the family farm northeast of Fremont with her sister Lucille until moving into Fremont in 2001 and residing at Nye Pointe.

Florence was preceded in death by 2 brothers - George and wife Mary Watchorn, Thomas Watchorn, and sister Lucille Watchorn. Florence was also preceded in death by her care givers for the last several years Ross and wife Elizabeth Watchorn.
The funeral will be 10am Saturday April 7 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Jay Gabb will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel will be Friday from 3pm to 8pm. Visitation will continue Saturday one hour before the service.
