Glen Dale Yount, age 91, of Fremont,
died Monday (Nov. 3, 2014) in Arbor Manor, Fremont.
Glen Dale Yount was born June 21, 1923 in Liberal, Missouri to James Elmer and Sarah (Berry) Yount. He served in the United States Army during the WW II years of 1942 to 1945.
On January 17, 1947, he was married to Edna Boehne in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They lived in Fort Collins, Colorado before moving to Fremont in the spring of 1949. He worked for Hormel's in Fremont, and in 1969, he founded the All Metals Market, Inc. in Fremont. He retired in 1986. During his retirement years, he enjoyed just cruising through the scrap yard at All Metals Market.
He was preceded in death by his wife Edna on November 7, 2009. He was also preceded by his parents Elmer and Sarah Yount, brothers Rollo, Jerry, Morris, Walter 'Kyle', and Dean Yount, sisters Cleo Tiller, Mary Watchhorn, and Georgia Steel, daughter-in-law Betty Yount, and son-in-law Jim Evans.
Survivors: 3 daughters – Evelyn and husband Steve Hosch of Omaha

3 sons – Larry and wife Peggy Yount of Fremont

There will be a private family service at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont with the committal in Ridge Cemetery. Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Wednesday (Nov. 5th) from 2 to 8 PM with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Cedar Bluffs Volunteer Fire Department.
