Sheila was born September 23, 1963 in Omaha, NE., to John and Donna 'Christensen' Ehlers. She was confirmed and baptized at First Lutheran Church in Fremont. She attended Fremont Sr. High and was a graduate of Bahner Beauty School in Fremont earning several awards. She also worked at Pendleton Woolen Mills. Shelia married Brent Baker in 1982, they later divorced.

Shelia is survived by two children Stephanie and Justin Baker. She is also survived by her parents John and Donna Ehlers, brother Kevin Ehlers and fiance' Cindy Johnston all of Fremont; sister Rita and husband Keith Jorgensen of Grand Island. Shelia is also survived by a special friend Clayton Wyman of Fremont, several nieces and nephews and lots of friends.

The memorial service will be Monday at 2pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Matt Knopf will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home an hour before the service on Monday. Memorials are suggested to Gentiva Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
