Barbara L. Jacobs, age 60, of Fremont
went to be with the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, on Saturday, October 4, 2014.
She was born on April 1, 1954 to Joseph and Trevia (Temple) Kotik. Barbara grew up in Fremont. On December 10, 1977, she was married to Frank Jacobs, and they made their home in Fremont. Her husband Frank, preceded her in death on May 19, 1992, and her father also preceded her.
She is survived by her mother Trivia Kotik of Fremont, 4 daughters, Kim (Will) Mitchell of Fremont, Tonya (Darrell) Ritenour of Fremont, Melissa (Tommy) Karr of Hastings, and Christa (David) Denetelli of Fremont, and her son Trevor (April) Jacobs of Kansas. There are 14 grandchildren, Bronwyn (Andrew) Zitka, Rowen Mitchell, Liam Mitchell, Gareth Mitchell, Cassandra Dotson, Frankie Crull, Hallie Crull, Cody (Olivia) Hartman, Johnathan Lopp, Gage Lopp, Abigail Jacobs, Carina Denetelli, Angelina Denetelli, and Gracie Denetelli. Also surviving are 4 brothers, 5 sisters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She loved her family dearly and prayed for them always.
Her funeral service will be 2 PM Wednesday (Oct. 8th) at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel, Fremont. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
