Elna F. Goracke, age 93, of Fremont,
died early Sunday morning, Sept. 21, 2014 in Arbor Manor, Fremont.
Elna was born June 5, 1921 on the family farm near Arlington to Leonard and Esther (Scheer) Echtenkamp. Elna was married on August 20, 1938 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church north of Arlington to Loren Goracke. She has lived most of her married life in Fremont.
Elna was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors: son – Garry and wife Linda Goracke of Fremont
daughter – Diane Nevius of Fremont

brother – Earl and wife Elaine Echtenkamp of Fremont
Elna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandchild, a great grandchild, 2 sisters, a brother, and her son-in-law Richard Nevius.
The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday (Sept. 24th) at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Dr. David Coe officiating. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Tuesday from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM.
