Pete was born January 31, 1952 in West Point to Carroll and Bess 'Holub' Rexin. He graduated from Scribner High School in 1970. Pete worked at IBP in West Point for a short while and then moved to Omaha and worked at a construction company for 7 years. He moved back to Scribner and operated Rexin Oil until 2001. Pete then worked in West Point for 12 years, the last 10 years at Sapp Brothers. While living in Scribner, Pete was a member of the city council, volunteer fire department and also a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Pete loved getting together to visit, eat and spending time with family and friends. He loved all types of community activities and family events, and was known to attend his nieces and nephews sporting activities.

Brother – Sam Rexin of Omaha

Pete was preceded in death by his parents and twin infant sisters.
The Funeral Mass will be 10:30am Friday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Scribner. Visitation will be Thursday from 3pm to 7pm with the family receiving friends from 6pm to 7pm at St. Lawrence. A Wake Service will be 7pm Thursday also at St. Lawrence. Memorials are suggested to St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Scribner and to the St. Francis Memorial Hospital Foundation in West Point.
