Frances 'Frannie' M. Meyer age 91
of Hooper

at the Hooper Care Center
Frannie was born February 25, 1923 in Scribner to Herman and Dora 'Kelberlau' Low. She was raised in Scribner and attended District 29 School. Her mother died at an early age so Frannie stayed at home to help with the housework. She married George Donald Meyer in 1948. She was a homemaker and mother while living on the farm between Scribner and Hooper. They later divorced. Frannie moved into Scribner and worked at Dahl's Steakhouse. She met Donald Hart and they started and ran Scribner Catering. They wintered in Arizona for several years. Around 1999 Frannie and Don moved into Hooper. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and its ladies aid until the church closed and then St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Scribner.

David and wife Jolene Meyer of Fremont
Bob and wife Chris Meyer of Scribner
Ron and wife Roxanne Meyer of Hooper
Brother – Kenny and wife Gladys Low of Scribner
14 grandchildren
13 great grandchildren
Frannie was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson.
The funeral will be 2pm Friday May 30 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Scribner. The Rev. Bruce Schut will officiate. Burial will follow in the Scribner Cemetery. A memorial fund will be established at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday from 3pm to 8pm with the family receiving friends from 6pm to 8pm at Ludvigsen's Scribner Funeral Chapel in Scribner.
