Larry L. Frey, age 77, of Fremont,
died early Sunday morning (May 11, 2014)
in Nye Legacy, Fremont.
Larry was born on June 20, 1936 in Emerson, Nebraska to Harvey and Della (Kai) Frey. He grew up in the Emerson area where he received his education.
He began working for a dairy delivery service, then worked for his brother Carol Frey at Frey's Service Station in Fremont. For many years, he was employed by Robertson Distributing. Later, Larry bought Paul's Card Shop, located on the corner of 6th & Mains Streets in downtown Fremont. When he retired, he worked part time for his brother at Frey's Auto Sales at 16th & Bell Streets.
Larry was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church and the Fremont Eagles Aerie 200.
Larry was married to Jean Anderson. Later, on July 22, 1972, Larry was married to Linda Teska.
Survivors: wife – Linda
son - Jeff and wife Barb Frey of Fremont
2 grandsons – Justin and Nick Frey
daughter – Sara and husband Mark Teetor of Lincoln
brother – Carol and wife Sylvia Frey of Fremont
nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other beloved family members
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and infant son Ricky, sisters Jeanie and Luella, and brothers Delmer and Wayne.
The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday (May 14th) at St. Timothy Lutheran Church (16th & Nye Ave.) with the Rev. Russell McDowell. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Timothy Lutheran Church or to the donor's choice.
Visitation will be at the Ludvigsen Mortuary on Tuesday from 2 to 8 PM with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM.
