Glenn was born on September 25, 1947 in Fremont, NE. He was raised by his grandparents Earl and Vivian Schneider. He lived in Scribner his entire life.
He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970. He worked at Prenzlow and Sons in Snyder, IBP in West Point, and Lakeview Pig in Hooper until his health forced him to retire in 1999.
He married Sherry Anderson on August 29, 1970 in Lemars, IA.
He is survived by his wife, five daughters Beth (Carlos) Ramirez of Fremont, Lynn (Roger) Benne of Scribner, Robin Schellenberg of Scribner, Maggie Adle of Fremont, and Zena Swanson of Scribner and one son Shad Schellenberg of Scribner. Also one sister Marge Knowlan of Beacon Falls, CT. Many grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews
He was an avid hunter, trapper, and fisherman. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and pets.
He was proceeded in death by daughter Glenda, grandparents, brother-in-law (Dwight Anderson), and mother-in-laws (Beula Anderson and Delores Worster) and fathers-in-law (Raymond Anderson and Granville "Shorty" Worster.)
A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday February 1, 2014 at Ludvigsen's Scribner Funeral Chapel. Military Honors will be provided by Scribner Legion Post 121 at the funeral home.
