Chuck was born October 14, 1930 in Inavale, Nebraska to Charles and Iva (Rutledge) Paulger. He began working at age 14 to help support his mother and younger sister. He had many interesting working experiences with numerous construction jobs operating heavy equipment, including the beginning of the West Fremont Elevator.

In later years, John Siems taught Chuck to fly small aircraft, which led to his ability to do special piloting jobs for Fremont Aviation. After retirement, Chuck continued his love of being outdoors and working, so he went to the Ritthaler farm in Saunders County to assist with various jobs.

Chuck enjoyed his family so very much and was blessed to see the antics of his great grandsons as often as possible.

He was an active member of the First Baptist Church, the Fremont Masonic Lodge No. 15 A.F. & A.M., and the Fremont Eagles Club Aerie 200.

"Mary Ann,

I knew Chuck through my visits as a pilot to the Fremont airport. One of the highlights of a trip to the airport was finding Chuck there and visiting over a cup of coffee. He was quick with a laugh and a smile, and was pretty darn good at telling a story. He was a great guy who will be missed by many. God bless you and your family during this time."

"On behalf of myself and The Jorn family, our deepest sympathy to The Paulger Family. Chuck was one of my dads best friends for as long as I can remember. He was like an uncle to me and my brother Tom. I remember many times Chuck and dad would work late into the night side by side doing repairs on Chucks dump truck. Chuck always had some good stories and clever sayings, some of which I still use today. We will miss you Chuck!"
