Margaret L. Page, age 100, of Fremont;
died Monday (Dec. 2, 2013) at Nye Pointe, Fremont.
Margaret was born July 17, 1913 in Saunders County to Charles and Anna (Dockweiler) Croshaw. She attended school in Wahoo, later working in Wahoo and Fremont as a waitress and a telephone operator. On May 29, 1933, she was married in Papillion, Nebraska to W. Dale Page. While he was serving in the US Army, she was living and working at Woolworths in California. Following her husband's discharge from the Army in 1945, they came to Fremont where he began employment in 1946 with Hormel's. Margaret and Dale enjoyed their summers when they could travel and camp.
Margaret was a member of the First Christian Church and active in its Christian Women's Fellowship serving as president for 2 years. She helped organize the Quilters of her church in 1985. She was a member of Arbor Vitae Chapter 92 Order of Eastern Star, serving as Worth Matron in 1972. She was a past president and treasurer of Arbor Vitae's Kensington Club. She was a past president of the Ramus Club, a local Masonic organization. She had been a member of Naphis Temple No. 66 Daughters of the Nile of Lincoln where she was an officer in 1973 and '74, and a past president of the Mitanni Nile Club of Fremont. She was a past president of the DOES, a ladies organization of the Elks Club. She had been a member of the Junior Women's Club. She delivered Meals on Wheels, worked with the blood mobile, served on the election board, and was a member of the hospital auxiliary.
Her husband Dale, died on November 5, 1993.

3 granddaughters – Amy Rains and husband Mark of Windsor
Trishia Frost and husband Tyler of Lincoln, NE
Anna Stone and husband Chad of Omaha
7 great grandchildren – Alison, Kayla and Jacob Rains

The funeral service will be 2 PM Thursday (Dec. 5, 2013) at the First Christian Church with Rev. N. Dwain Acker. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. There will be visitation Wednesday from 4 PM to 8 PM, with the family present from 6 to 8 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel. There will also be an Eastern Star Service, open to the public, at 7 PM Wednesday evening at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to Arbor Vitae Chapter 92 Order of Eastern Star.
