"I think that Paul was a friend to most everyone. He was a great citizen and a fun person to be around.

During last years 55th Class of 1957 reunion, I reminded Paul of the Saturday night when Paul, Ron Wyman and myself attended a midnight movie at the Empress Theater. Afterward, he invited us over to sleep in his front yard. It was quite an experience when I awoke the next morning to a lot of cars passing by and the people in them all staring at us. Paul said that many people had slept in his front yard
during our school years. I'm proud to have been one of them and proud to have known Paul.

"Last year I too had heart surgery and on many days, I would look in my computer and there would be an email from Paul with a bit of humor or words of encouragement. They all brought a smile too my face. I know he has left so many friends in sadness by his passing. But, we all can feel blessed that we knew a great man, a great father, a man who cared about his community and was loyal to his untold number of true friends. He left his world a better place reflected by his life. May Paul rest in peace. My condolences to his wife and family."

"My sincerest sympathy to Paul's family. I have some fond memories of Paul and Don. Paul was always a happy person and fun to be around. He spoke of his brother often when we would see each other. He came to my home on an appliance service call several years ago and we ended up visiting for two hours. I'm sure he was busy but took time to renew an old friendship. He will be missed.
