"Edna, I remember all of the trips with Grandma and Howard to your house. I remember I loved sitting on your fireplace and you had the best cookies and snacks. I am sad you are gone but glad you are in a better place. Love you."

"Oh Edna, we shared great stories over coffee & kringle and had lots of laughs. Thank you for those times and for giving everyone the beauty of your flowers and you. I will always remember how you pointed out to me the framed words in your home titled the Clock of Life. Love you The clock of life is wound but once, And no man has the power To tell just when the hands will stop At late or early hour. To lose one's wealth is sad indeed, To lose one's health is more, To lose one's soul is such a loss That no man can restore. The present only is our own, So Live, Love, toil with a will -- Place no faith in 'Tomorrow' -- For the clock may then be still. Robert H. Smith ©1932-1982"
