David G. 'Dave' Hinken Age 57
of Fremont
Died Thursday January 3, 2008
at his home
Dave was born September 2, 1950 in Norfolk, Nebraska to John and Elaine 'Wiedeman' Hinken. He was raised in Norfolk until the family moved to Fremont in 1965. Dave graduated from Fremont High School in 1969. After high school he received his associate's degree from Southeast Community College in Milford.
Dave married the former Donna Story on September 4, 1971 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. He worked for Don Peterson and Associates, then the couple moved to Lexington briefly before returning to Fremont. Dave worked for Insulfoam in Mead for the last 23 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.

3 Daughters – Stephanie, and husband Eric Stork of Winslow
Jessica Hinken and special Friend Shawn Armagost of Fremont
Melanie Hinken, and special Friend Aly Murad, of Nashville, TN.
4 grandchildren
Mother – Elaine, and husband Marv Wilke of Norfolk
2 Sisters – Faye, and husband Darrell Story of Ames
Karen, and husband Tony Wong of Omaha
2 Sisters-in-law – Anita, and husband Ron Werth of Las Vegas, NV.
Cindy, and husband Merv Heiden of Fremont
Brother-in-law – Robert Dangler of Kennesaw
Father-in-law – Joseph Story of Fremont

Dave was preceded in death by his father John in 1976.
The funeral will be on Monday January 7, at 10:30am at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Mike Meyer will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2pm to 8pm with family receiving friends from 2pm to 4pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue one hour before service at the church.
