Greg was born July 1, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska to Marion and Lura 'Reikofski' Logemann. He was raised in Omaha and graduated from Omaha North High School in 1965. After high school Greg enlisted in the Navy. He served for 5 years doing 2 tours in Vietnam before finishing his service in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. After his military service he returned to Omaha and began work as a truck driver. He worked for various trucking companies before moving to West Point. In November of 1984 Greg married Shirley Forsberg in West Point. After their marriage the couple moved to Hooper.

Daughter - Diane Logemann of Blair
Son - Jeff Logemann of Hooper
Father - Marion Logemann of Omaha
Uncle - Wilbur Lindstrom of Colorado
Mother-in-law - Betty Sklenar of Omaha

Greg was preceded in death by his mother, a sister and an aunt.

The funeral will be Thursday May 1, 1:00pm at the Hooper Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Joel Schroeder will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hooper Cemetery with Military Honors by the Hooper American Legion Post 18. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00am to service time at 1:00pm at the funeral home in Hooper.
