Edwin was born April 21, 1922 on the family farm northwest of Fremont where he grew up. His parents were Andrew and Johanna 'Rasmussen' Jorgensen. He was baptized and confirmed in the Bluffs Trinity Lutheran Church. Edwin farmed northwest of Fremont until 1986 when he moved into Fremont.
He was married to Sylvia Kracl in 1943 and she preceded him in death in 1970. Then on January 2, 1971, he was married to Lois Siercks Seaman here in Fremont in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She died on April 15, 1998.
Edwin was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors: son Duane and wife Donna Jorgensen of Ramsey, Indiana
step-son - Rick and wife Janet Seaman of Palo Alto, Calif.
step-daughter - Shelly and husband Tom Reames of Albuquerque, New Mexico
1 grandson and 2 step-grandchildren
Edwin was preceded in death by his 2 wives, Sylvia and Lois, 3 sisters, and a brother.
The funeral service will be 10 AM Monday (July 28th) in the Chapel of Trinity Lutheran Church. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to his church. Visitation will be in the Ludvigsen Mortuary, Fremont, on Sunday from 2 to 6 PM.
