Eugenia was born Sept. 3, 1920 in Rescue, Nebraska to Joseph and Frances 'Jurek' Barta. She came to Fremont at the age of 3, and received her education in Fremont.
In her adult years, she had worked at various jobs, including assisting several families with housekeeping.
She was married to Ernest G. Kucera, who preceded her in death on October 20, 1975. Later, Eugenia made her home with her sister here in Fremont.
Eugenia was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her husband, by 2 brothers (Joseph and Oswald Barta), and by 3 sisters (Olga Bielski, Hilda Vitamvas, and Mildred Kuss).
Survivors include:

nephews – Robert Barta of Yutan

Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont will be Tuesday morning (Sept. 30th) from 9 AM until 11 AM. There will be a graveside service at 11 AM Tuesday in Calvary Cemetery.
