"Uncle Roland was always full of surprises. He delighted in making me smile. I remember a time where there was a knock on the side door of my childhod home in Denver and there he stood! I just stood there shouting to my parents its unka Roland! Thanks for the happy memories. You will be missed"

"Richard, Roland, and Family: My condolences regarding the loss of your father. I certainly enjoyed our prior meetings and discussions (and especially your father's sense of humor). Also, I apologize for not attending the services at the mortuary, but I did not learn of your father's passing until today. Your father was indeed a gentleman and his legacy will be the character of you children that carry on his good name."
