"I will always remember the great times we had and all the wonderful memories of both growing up and the time he spent in Arizona! As kids we thought it was so cool that the Becher's had horses to ride and Uncle Bill let me ride Russ, his big horse and Russ did not like me so as we trotted he veered under the trees trying to knock me off but I stayed on (cousin Bob must have given me some advice) and when we came back Uncle Willy gave that horse a punch that he would not forget!! When he came down to Arizona we had so many great times playing golf and so many laughs! We played a game with Fairways, Putts and Greens and we called him Captain Fairway as he rarely missed one. We would then go back to his place and have a few Coors lights and play some cards and laugh at some of the golf shots of the day, especially the one where Uncle Dick had an approach shot into the sun over the water and I was with Willy way off the green at the back and we could not see anything and then we heard CRACK and he hit me in the head at the edge of my visor so it didn't hurt to bad. Uncle Bill said thanks for taking that hit as he was standing pretty close to me! I said any time for you Willy! We will miss him dearly!!!! and we started laughing so hard."
