"I first met Walt in November 1989, we worked together at Steffy's. Walt was a very caring man and always in a good mood; if you weren't you would be in a short time later. Walt was special to all of us; but even more so to my wife Jayne. My wife's grandparents died when she was very young and Walt was like the prandparent that she didn't have. The two of them would talk as if they were related and had know each other for years; she too will miss him dearly. I miss working with Walt and not seeing him on a daily basis; every now and then him and Donna would stop by and see us, we would catch up with each other and go on until the next meeting. I'll miss his infectious smile and his outward caringness; he will be sorely missed."
