Cindy was born October 23, 1950 in Ida Grove, Iowa to Floyd and Helen 'Friedrichsen' Wilcke. She was raised on the farm near Battle Creek, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church and graduated from Battle Creek High School in 1968. Cindy then attended Midland Lutheran College. She married Ron Rossow on June 6, 1971 and graduated from Midland Lutheran College in 1972. After college Cindy taught elementary school at District 93 near North Bend, NE., Trinity Lutheran School in Fremont and kindergarten for the Fremont Public Schools since 1985. Cindy was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont.

Brothers – Bill Wilcke of St. Paul, MN.
Bob Wilcke of Battle Creek, IA.
Tom and wife Cindy Wilcke of Battle Creek, IA.
Nieces – Nicki, Lydia, Bethany, Chancey, Cassidy, Cheyenne
Nephews – Bryan, Chaps, Cash
Mother-in-law – Amanda Rossow of Battle Creek, IA.
Sisters-in-law - Pam and husband John Myers of Maryville, MO.
Fran and husband Dan Oeffner of Paullina, IA.

Cindy was preceded in death by her mother Helen Wilcke and Father-in-law Edgar Rossow.

The funeral will be 10:00am Saturday April 11 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The Rev. Timothy Gierke will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Friday 3:00pm to 8:00pm with family receiving friends from 5pm to 7pm at Ludvigsen Mortuary. Visitation will continue 1 hour before service at the church.
