Brenda was born September 15, 1960 in West Point to Richard and Rita (Gerwick) Johnson. She grew up in Fremont, graduating from Fremont High School.

During her high school years, she worked for Bob Morton at the Drive-In Theater, and she also worked for the Fremont Tribune. She attended Midland College for a year, then traveled with Teen Missions. She also worked for ENCOR. Brenda then attended Crown College in Minnesota for 3 years. Currently, Brenda was working part time for Johnson's Cycle here in Fremont.

Her surviving family includes:
parents ? Richard and Rita Johnson of Fremont
2 brothers ? Brian and wife Tami Johnson of Arlington
Michael and wife Joni Johnson of Omaha
3 nephews ? Cody and Curtis Johnson of Arlington
Tyler and wife Jessie Johnson, serving with the US Air Force in England

The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Monday (May 11th) in the Fremont Alliance Church with the Rev. Tom Nevius officiating. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Rivercrest Bible Camp.

Visitation ( with closed casket ) will be on Sunday (May 10th) from 5 to 7 PM.
