"Lyle was like a father to me growing up on Monroe Street. He stayed out of Terri and my little disagreements but was always there for us. He was someone you could talk to at any time. He loved Jan, his children and grandchildren with all of his heart and he will be missed by me and many. Going back will not be the same but visiting my other family will always happen. "Lyle was just 1 year younger then me and the brother I never had. When we were kids growing up in KS, he and CH used to come spend a week or two at our place every summer, as we lived on a farm and they were "city kids" from the "big" city of Horton. Those are such happy memories for me. I loved having them there. And I'm so thankful Jack & I stopped and visited with them for a day or two last May, on our way from WA to KS. I know Lyle was having bad back pain at that time, too. We really didn't talk that often, but I'm so glad I called them the day after Christmas this year and had a real nice convsersation with both Lyle & Jan. He was sure a good man and loved by many. Thank God his suffering has finally ended."

"Dear Jan & Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Lyle and I worked together at Coors and he had been my Salesman for many years. All I can say about him was that he was truely an amazing person, willing to go the extra mile to make someone happy. If you were having a bad day, all you had to do was give Lyle a call or just see the smile that was always on his face. You could tell that Lyle loved life and doing what he did for the beer company. I will forever remember him and his bubbly personality. My thoughts and prayers are with Jan and his entire family. He's in GOD's hands now, so we know he's safe.
