Tarrie Dee (Wallis) Morgan, 72, of Fremont, Nebraska, passed away October 19, 2026.
Tarrie was born April 21, 1954 in Columbus, Nebraska, to Basil and Doris Twila (Henry) Wallis. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School with the Class of 1972.
On July 24, 1972, Tarrie married James “Jim” J. Morgan. The couple moved to Colorado in 1973, where they began building their life together. In 1981, they welcomed their daughter, Sarah, who brought great joy to their lives. The family returned to Nebraska in 1988, where they continued to make their home.
Tarrie devoted her early years to being a stay-at-home mom, a role she cherished. She dedicated her later working years to the manufacturing industry. She was employed at several companies, including Pendleton Woolen Mills, Hammond & Stephens Co., and Southwark Metal Manufacturing Co.
Tarrie loved day adventures with her daughter, doting on her beloved grand-dogs and spending time with family and friends.
Tarrie was preceded in death by her parents, Basil and Doris Wallis; sister, Sunsary "Toni"; and husband, Jim.
Tarrie is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Ryan) Brooks of Fremont, along with her beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to assist with medical expenses.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont from 2pm to 4pm. The memorial service will be 10:30am, Monday, at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow the service at Inglewood Village Hall.
