Leland was born on November 30, 1914 in the family farm home northwest of Fremont. He has lived in that same home until moving into Shalimar Gardens in Fremont on Tuesday. All of his working years were spent farming that family farm.

On February 16, 1947, Leland was married to Martha Navrakal. They were members of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

His survivors include: wife - Martha
son - Ted and wife Lucy Nelson of rural Fremont
daughter - Bonny and husband Robert Lasho of Carlsbad, Calif.
8 grandchildren
18 great grandchildren
Leland was preceded in death by 4 sisters and a brother.

The funeral service will be 10 AM Monday (April 19th) in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The committal will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick's Church.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 to 7 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont.
