"We were so glad that Sheila came to our party the night before our 50th high school reunion. We had not seen her for 50 years since we had graduated. She actually graduated from West Point High School and not from Wayne as listed in her obituary. We all had a nice visit with her and enjoyed the night with her a year ago."

"I worked with Shiela for 9 years at Midland Lutheran College. She was truly a dedicated worker and a very loyal friend. She loved her job, her Midland Lutheran College family, her church and the choir she was part of. Shiela will be missed by many. She was a very sweet, caring person and I know God is welcoming her home with open arms. God Bless. Gloria Doerneman"
