"Some of my best memories of Joyce were from the cross-country meets. She was always out there cheering for every girl on that team. After the races, all of us would wander over to Joyce's car and she would open the trunk and surprise us with all sorts of goodies. She took such good care of all of us and was a mom to us all. She was SO proud of you, Denise and Darla. My thoughts and prayers are with both of you. Katie Hansen"

SHE WAS ALWAYS SO PROUD AND PARTICULAR WITH THE HOUSE, BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE; HER GARDEN AND FLOWERS WERE VERY IMPORTANT TO HER AND I COULD ALWAYS ASK HER ANY PLANT QUESTIONS AND SHE WOULD KNOW. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN TAKING CAKE DECORATING CLASSES AND WE ATE WAY TO MUCH FROSTING!!! HER PIES WERE INCREDIBLE AND SHE USUALLY HAD CHOCLATE CHIP COOKIES IN THE FREEZER. I AM GOING TO MISS MY FRIEND AND "SISTER" - JOYCE. LOVE YOU VICKIE"
