"My beloved husband, Sandy (Wayne), and I had the pleasure and privilege to meet Joel's dad and mother when they visited Joel in Woodland, CA who lived across the street from us. Sandy and Elly were about the same age. They both loved to talk, tell stories as well as jokes. I didn't know about Elly's loving to dance. So did Sandy! Maybe they are getting reacquainted in a nice place today. My husband's mother's name was Dorothy, and that was Elly's wife's name, so there were some threads in the tapestry of life. If I were to have a son, it would be Joel. We more or less adopted him in California. May God's blessings be bestowed on their wonderful family."
