Gabriella was born February 2, 1913 in Rescue, Nebraska to Joseph and Frances (Jurek) Barta. She came to Fremont with her family in the early 1920's. She finished her education in Fremont.
During her working years she had been employed by Babendures, and later Campbell Soup Co. For several years, Gabriella made her home in Fremont with a sister, Eugenia Kucera.
Gabriella was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers (Joseph and Oswald Barta) and her 4 sisters (Olga Bielski, Hilda Vitamvas, Mildred Kuss, and Eugenia Kucera.
She is survived by a nephew, Robert and wife Trish Barta of Yutan.
Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary, Fremont, will be on Wednesday from 1 to 3 PM, followed by a graveside service in Calvary Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Battiato
