Randal K. 'Randy' Nieman, age 69, of Fremont
Died Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.
Randy was born March 20, 1956 in Fremont to Keith and Doris 'Wade' Nieman. He was raised in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1974. After high school he worked at Hinky Dinky. He married Melissa Sedlacek and they moved to Texas and worked for Tom Thumb Grocery. The couple returned to Fremont and Randy worked with his mother Doris at Nieman Bookkeeping and Tax. He semi-retired last year.

Wife – Melissa of Fremont
Sons – Joshua (Lyndsay) of Elwood, Jeremy and Jacob both of Fremont
Grandchildren – Paisley and Finley
Sister – Cindy Lundy of Fremont
Brother – Rick (Laura) Nieman of Fremont
Sisters-in-law – Nyla Eddie of Randolph, Suzy Harmsen of Fremont, Mary Pat (Bruce) Sorenson of Sioux Falls, SD.
Brothers-in-law – Jerry DeLozier of Yankton, SD; Jim (Mary) DeLozier of Colorado;
Doug (Cheryl) DeLozier of Florida; Jim (Shelly) Sedlacek of Wisconsin;
Jerry (Polly) Sedlacek of Washington; John Sedlacek of Yankton, SD
Many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents.
There is no viewing but the family will receive friends Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont from 5pm to 7pm. The memorial service will be 10:30am, Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. A memorial will be determined at a later date.
