Patricia I. "Trish" (Benjamin) Nielsen, age 70 of Fremont NE
passed away, November 1st, 2025, at Pathfinder.
Trish was born December 8, 1954, to Sherwood and Dona Mae (Myers) Benjamin. She was a lifetime Fremont resident. Trish graduated from Fremont's Bergan High School in1973. She was employed for many years by Valmont Industries and then Lozier Corporation before retiring.
Trish was known for her strength, giving heart and caring personality. She enjoyed music and singing, reading, spending time with family and friends, and attending her great-niece's activities.
Trish has been reunited with her beloved son John Patrick "J.P." Nielsen who passed away on August 2nd, 1994. Also preceding her in death are her grandparents, parents Sherwood and Dona Mae, brothers Daniel and Gary, and sister-in-law Toni.
Trish is survived by niece Abbie Benjamin of Fremont, NE and her daughters Alyssa, Lexi, and Harper; nephew Jared Benjamin of Fremont, NE; sister-in-law Joyce Benjamin, nephew Shawn and his family, niece Lora and her family, all of Superior, NE. As well as many friends and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
Trish was one of the strongest women to walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her. We are eternally grateful for the unconditional love and support she gave us throughout our lives.
Trish requested that no formal service be held. Visitation/book signing at Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel, Fremont, will be held Friday, November 7th, from 4-6 PM.
