"Reaching out the the whole family in love and prayer in the loss of your Mom & Grandma. What a fine lady she was. I got to know Lucy at St. Tim's church and through working with Encor. I told her she always looked like she'd just stepped out of Vogue (fashion magazine)! What a beautiful woman, inside and out!!! We will all miss her a lot. (I used to be neighbors to Jerry & Mary on Hancock St. many years ago!) Remember, a Mom & Grandma's Love never dies, she will be with you always!!! God Bless & comfort you all."

"Our thought and prayers are with all of Lucy's family. She was one of the most special women we will ever hope to meet or call "friend". She was a gem and I so very much enjoyed getting to know her and working with her at So-Fro Fabrics in the Fremont Mall. We are sorry that we were unable to attend her funeral, as we were out of town, but we want to extend our condolences to her family. She will be missed by many. Sincerely, Harold & Linda Harper"
