"Doug was one of my former history teachers. He had a great sense of humor and was one of the reasons I chose education as a profession. I'm sure my brother Pud was there to welcome him into heaven. RIP Mr. Nabb. Respectfully- Gregg Kupfer"

"Rest in peace Mr. Nabb, you were one of my favorite teachers. I will never forget that disgusting gum bucket you kept in your classroom! Thoughts and prayers to the family, he will be missed."

"To Doug's family, I came to know Doug within education legislative activity, and was immediately impressed by his willingness to be a gentleman in the conversation. His passion for serving kids and their schools was strong and showed in his legislative efforts. He was truly one of the "good guys." HIs candor, humor, and compassion will be missed. Our sympathy to his family and friends as you work through your loss of such a good man. Jon Habben, Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association"
