Danny (Dan) Dale Dallman, 70, of Uehling, Nebraska, passed away at home on March 9, 2025.

Dan was born on May 11, 1954, to Clint and Roxie Dallman and grew up in Hooper, Nebraska. He spent his youth playing football, basketball, and golf, developing a lifelong love for sports. After graduating, he built a career as a dedicated and hardworking self-employed plumber, always taking pride in his work and his community.

On June 6, 1987, Dan married Judith Letrud, and together they built a life filled with love and family. They raised two sons, Tony and Jace, who were his greatest pride. Though he was known for his no-nonsense work ethic, he had a soft side that shone through, especially around kids. No matter how busy life got, he never missed one of Tony or Jace's sporting events—always there on the sidelines, cheering them on.

Beyond work, Dan devoted himself to his community, serving on the Oakland Golf Club board, including time as board president, and as chairman of the board for the village of Uehling. He also gave back as a volunteer firefighter. He was a lifelong Nebraska Cornhuskers football fan and always held out hope for the next great season. But no matter what, he always made time for the things he loved most—playing golf, sharing cocktails with friends at the club, and enjoying his 1969 Corvette. One of his happiest moments was when his son Tony helped restore it to its original color.

Dan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judith Letrud; his sons, Tony (Maryia) Dallman and Jace Dallman; his siblings, Jack Dallman and Terri Nilles; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Randy Dallman.

Dan lived life with a quiet strength, a hardworking spirit, and a deep love for family, community, and Husker football. He will be remembered always.

There is no viewing but the family will receive friends at Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm. The memorial service will be 10:30am, Friday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper. Burial will be later in Minnesota. Memorials can be directed to the family.
