Mark A. Arnold, 62, of Fremont Nebraska, passed away at Methodist Fremont Health on February 18th, 2025.
He was born to Robert and Dana (Hansen) Arnold on August 31st, 1962 in Grand Island, Nebraska. Mark graduated from Fremont Senior High School in 1980. He went to work at Golden Sun and 5th Season. He recently retired from Wholestone Farms, formally known as Hormel Foods, after 25 years. He enjoyed watching Husker and Miami Dolphins football, scratch off lottery tickets, and spending time with friends and family.
Mark was preceded in death by parents Robert "Bob" and Dana (Hansen) Arnold, grandparents Dan and Bertha (Schmidt) Hansen and Leslie and Meta (Ohlmann) Arnold, uncle Ervin Hansen, uncle Glen Kemper, cousin Ralph Klein, cousin Aiedan Klein, and great nieces Millie and Massie Reid.
He is survived by his brother Ron (Debbie) Arnold of England and sister Connie (Jim) Svatora of Fremont; aunt Irene (Harlan) Klein of Grand Island; aunt Cheryl Hansen of Crestview, FL and aunt JoAnn Kemper of Grand Island; 2 nephews and 7 nieces: Shana (Anthony) Arnold-Delaney of Australia; Keith (Teri) Arnold of England; Bailey (Jack) Reid of England; Ciara Arnold (special friend Ian) of Washington State; Thomas Arnold of Oregon; Haley (BJ) Mauer of Fremont; and Shelby Svatora of Seward; 3 great-nephews and 4 great-nieces: Finley and Mary Delaney; Alana and Landon Arnold; Alfie, Nora and Harry Reid; and Rylan and Liam Mauer.
There will be no viewing, however, family will receive friends at Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont on Thursday, March 6, from 5-7pm. Graveside service and burial will be Friday March 7, at 11am at Memorial Cemetery by Chaplain Scott Jensen.
Memorials can be made to the family to be specified at a later date.
