Died November 25, 2024 at Lakeview Living in Firth, NE.

Judi was born September 20, 1941 to Lois M. 'Hall' and Stanley L. Steen in Fremont, Nebraska. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1959 and then went on to Wesleyan University and graduated with her teaching degree. After graduation, she worked as a teacher and taught everyone from preschoolers to prisoners. She served as a 'Teammate', worked as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and served on a Foster Care Review Board.

On August 3, 1963 she married Wayne Myron Jacobson, he passed away in February of 1984. Judi then married Edwin Lee Adams on August 9, 1985 and he passed away on April 29, 2008. In addition to her husbands, Judi was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Susan Marburger.

She is survived by her brother Mike Steen, and her children Christopher Jacobson, Craig Jacobson and Maralee Sobotka. She is also survived by her grandchildren Bailee Cook, Madison Sobotka, Georgia Jacobson, Logan Jacobson, Breann Sims, Michelle Olson, Ashley Mhyre and John Damkroger.

The memorial service will be 10am, Thursday, December 5, 2024 at St. Mark's Methodist Church in Lincoln (8550 Pioneers Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68520), burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. Memorials maybe directed to the family.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
