Scott A. "Scotty" Gardner, Age 77, of Woodcliff.
Preceded in death by wife, Mardy, parents Donald Gardner and Grace Hansen, daughter Jennifer Gardner.
Survived by sisters MaryLynn (Ralph) Walker, Pam Gardner-Castle, and Janice (Jim) Winter; children Jack (Valarie), Gretchen (Craig), Mary (Shane), Karen (Eric), and Amy (Jason); grandchildren Jordan (Aneisha), AnnaLea, Magen, Justin (Morgan), Jayden, Kylie, Ava, Chloe and Kira; great-grandchildren Charli and Josie; cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and special friends.
Memorials suggested to the Woodcliff Lions Mardy Gardner Memorial Scholarship. To honor Scott's wishes, no service will be held. Extended family and friends are welcome to join the family at the home from 4-7 on Tuesday, November 26th, 2024.
Our Dad was a man of few words, but they were usually funny and powerful when spoken. He taught us many of life's valuable lessons, like do a job right the first time, help a neighbor or friend in need, check your oil and tires and never lie. He was known for his clever euphemisms, no nonsense ways, love of old westerns,70s tunes, and beer. He was a lifelong sprinkler fitter and proud union local 669 member.
We know he loved all of us "kiddos" immensely and missed our Mom daily with his big papa bear heart.
