"Alan, Steve, Mark and Family, My deepest condolences over the loss of your mother. Mothers are special people who leave footprints on our heart. She will always be close to you through the special memories she has left behind. May the sadness which you experience be comforted by your cherished memories. May the hope given to us by Almighty God (Psalms 83:18) and His Son Christ Jesus bring you peace. I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." John 11:11,12, 21-26; Matthew 5:5. Loving thoughts are with you."

"Dear Alan, Steve, Mark and families, We are deeply saddened by Joan's passing. In the past few days, I have found myself remembering Joan's wonderful ability to make everyone she met feel comfortable and at home whether at Lens Crafters, TomTom or around her kitchen table. She was always ready for amusing conversation with a cup of coffee or a drink. We will dearly miss visiting with her. I will cherish her recipes for cream puffs and angel food cake, two things from my childhood that I have fond memories of. Janie Indeed, the last time all three of us were together with Joan, it was at her kitchen table with that ubiquitous cup of coffee, a smile and a great deal of warm conversaton. That is a memory Rich (and especially Sam) will cherish for life. Rich"
