Donna Rae Kruger, age 89, of Kansas formerly of Fremont
Died Sunday, April 21, 2024 in Kansas.
Donna was born November 22, 1934 in Snyder, Nebraska to Walter and Elenora 'Westphalen' Ellerman. She grew up in Pender, West Point and Scribner where she went to school. On February 3, 1950 she married Donald Kruger and they lived on a farm near Scribner for 5 years then moved into Scribner. She worked at Shorts Steak House in Scribner for 10 years. The couple moved into Fremont in 1975 from Omaha. Donna worked several places ending her working years after 10 years at Midland College.
Survivors:
Daughter – Diane Dukat of Topeka, KS.
Son – Delbert (Jan) Kruger of Omaha
3 grandchildren
4 great grandchildren
Brother-in-law – Ralph Wagner of Scribner
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Donald, 2 brothers Vern and Warren Ellerman and 3 sisters Delores (in infancy), Joan Berg and Janine Wagner, infant granddaughter and infant great grandson.
The memorial service will be 1pm, Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Burial will be in the Scribner Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Scribner Volunteer Fire and Rescue Departments.
