Billy Junior Hubbell II, age 69, of Hooper
Died Saturday March 9, 2024 at Methodist Fremont Health

Bill was born April 30, 1954 in Omaha to Billy Jr and Agnes 'Peggy' (Walsh) Hubbell. He graduated from Bennington High School in 1972. He met the love of his life Diane Athena Damicus in 1975 and they were married in April of 1976. He came to know Christ in 1978. They had their first child Billy Jr. III in July of 1979 and welcomed their second child Jennifer Ann just under a year later in July of 1980. They moved to an acreage in Colon, Nebraska where Bill did body/mechanic work. Their third child Stephanie Marie was born in December of 1983 and their fourth child Michael Scott was born in July of 1987. The family moved north of Fremont in 1990. Bill wore many different hats during that time, finding a love for construction. They lost their fifth child Christopher John in August of 1993. They welcomed their sixth child Jonathan Douglas in January of 1995. The family moved to an acreage west of Valley in 1996.

Bill traded his hammer for a pen in 1998 to become a real estate agent. He truly found joy in helping people during that time. Tragedy came in August of 2004 when he lost his oldest daughter Jennifer and his first two grandchildren in a terrible car accident. Devoted to his family he gave up his real estate career to spend more time at home. He started Integrity Home Inspection in 2005 and continued to operate it until his passing. Bill and Diane decided to downsize from the acreage and moved to Hooper in 2017. He enjoyed serving in church throughout the years. He was passionate about life and protecting the unborn by serving at Life Choices where he served on the board for many years until 2023. He continued to serve there giving parenting classes and an anger management class. He especially loved being a grandpa. His hobbies included shooting, knife making, fishing with friends and his grandchildren, camping with his loved ones, and riding bicycles with his wife.
