Sharon L. Ypper of Hooper, passed away October 2, 2023 at Nye Legacy in Fremont

Sharon Green was born August 18, 1948 to Donald & Roberta (Alumbaugh) Green in Shenandoah, IA and was the 1st of 4 daughters. The family moved to the Wahoo/Swedeburg area where Sharon graduated from Wahoo High School in 1967. After high school, Sharon met the love of her life, Norman Ypper and the two were married in Wahoo in 1970. They had 3 boys. Sharon worked many jobs over the years with bookkeeping & accounting being her calling. Sharon was an amazing cook and was happiest with her family together & fixing them delicious meals. She also greatly enjoyed her trips to the casinos.

Sharon is survived by her husband Norman, sons David of Blair, Dale (Jackie) of Uehling, and Mark of Scribner. Grandson Devin Ypper, granddaughter Samantha Ypper, several nieces & nephews and sister Carolyn.

Preceding her in death are her parents & sisters Donna Gass and Sandy Pishna

There are no services planned at this time. Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
