LydaJane was born December 3, 1938 in Aurora, Illinois to Paul and Lyda Marie 'Orland' Waters. She grew up in Aurora and graduated from East Aurora High School. While in high school LydaJane was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
After high school she attended Aurora University and obtained degrees in German and English in just 3 years.
In 1974 LydaJane and her mother moved to Fremont where she resided until moving to the nursing home in Tekamah about 8 years ago. While living in Fremont LydaJane was a member of First Lutheran Church.
LydaJane was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday May 31 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Charlie Axness will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, ILL. Visitation will be at Ludvigsen Mortuary on Tuesday from 9am until the service at 11am. Memorials are suggested to the Lutheran Home Finding Society in Chicago, Ill., The Lutheran Home for the Aged and the Salvation Army.
