"I am completely broken hearted to hear about Dr. Lynn Porter's passing. I was a patient of hers for eight years, and prior to my treatments with her she also counseled with my mother for eight years. That was by coincidence that both she and I saw Dr. Porter, but when I started seeing her she was completely and very generously interested in listening to me and very intently. I saw her weekly for eight consecutive years and as i mentioned my mother also saw her for eight years and Dr. Porter never even accepted any payment from either one of us. I have seen many professionals over a period of 30+ years and have never met such a kind, gentle, compassionate Lady and Professional in every regard. I haven't seen her in five years, but I can tell you that i truly loved her. I had such deep feelings for her as a wonderful christian Professional. I wish I didn't lose track of her so fast, because this was devastating news to learn and God Bless Her Soul and the entire Porter Family. She will forever be in my heart.

"I worked with Lynn at our practice in Henderson. When I visited her in the hospital here, the depth of her faith shined so clearly. She was a true inspiration in her courage, perseverance, and profound generosity. I remember her often at our church. Prayers for peace and comfort for the family."

"What a maddening event re: Lynn's premature death. I remember Lynn (as an underclassman) at SHS as fun, frisky, humorous, smart. As her sibs were as well, she was a terrific musician, esp. piano. What an accomplished professional she became. I send my heartfelt regards to all the Porter family, having to deal with this and other recent losses. What a bunch of terrific people you are. Death ends a Life but not a Relationship, so I'm sure you will "talk" with Lynn forever. Take care, Larry Moeller, Manhattan, KS"
