Ramona (Roxie) L. Peterson age 84, of Fremont
Died Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Life Care Center in Elkhorn
Ramona 'Roxie' was born to February 3, 1938 in Osceola, Nebraska to Arthur and Amelia 'Dolph' Anderson. She went to District 8 grade school in Osceola and graduated from Columbus High School in 1955. From there she went to York and worked for the telephone company. She then worked in Lincoln for a nursing home and several facilities in Fremont. While she was living in Lincoln she met John Duhrkopf, they married in 1956 and later divorced. She then moved to Columbus and worked various jobs while living there. She then moved to Fremont, where she met Raymond E. Peterson Sr., the married July 4th, 1962, they adopted two children during their marriage and they later divorced.

Children – Sharon Hartung of Fremont
Raymond E. (Deborah) Peterson Jr. of Fremont
Shawn (Jennifer) Peterson of Celina, TX.
11 grandchildren
14 great grandchildren
Sisters – Ardith Shutte of Schuyler
Alice Rae Chleboun of Columbus
Brother – Ardon Anderson of York
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son and two brothers-in-law and sister-in-law.
The funeral will be 10:30am, Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery in Wahoo. Memorials may be directed to the family. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3pm to 8pm with the family present from 6pm to 8pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont.
