Herb was born in Fremont to Herbert and Ella 'Thurman' Hall. He was raised in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1975. After high school he worked various jobs around Fremont eventually working and retiring from Premier Industries in Mead as a truck driver.
Herb married Shirley Beckmann on May 11, 1985 and they continued to live in Fremont. Herb was an avid outdoorsman and loved going to Gavins Point Dam.

Granddaughter - Ella Hall
Father - Herb Hall of Fremont
Brother - Michael (Melissa) Hall of Fremont
Sister - Bernadine Nicodemus of Cheyanne, WY.
Sisters-in-law - Diane (Randy) Buhrman of Fremont
Kaylene Grell of Ashland
Brother-in-law - Jeff Knudtson of Fostoria, IA.
Herb was preceded in death by his wife Shirley on March 17, 2011, his mother Ella and 3 sisters.
There will be no viewing but the family will greet friends at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel, from 5pm to 8pm on Friday, August 13, 2021. Burial will be in the Bancroft Cemetery.
