Diane Lewin age 67 of Scribner passed away holding her husband's hand Sunday August 8, 2021.
Diane was born May 18, 1954 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Earl and Elenore Madru. Diane lived a simple life, she loved reading, loved baking cookies for her family, she had an amazing green thumb and loved her flower garden. She loved to feed the birds and the squirrels and enjoyed watching them come to her birdfeeders every morning. Her favorite place to be was surrounded by her family, she loved attending all of her grandchildren's events to cheer for them. She was an avid 'texter' and kept in constant contact with all of them.
Diane was united in marriage to Jerry Lewin on September 26, 1969. From this union were three children. Theirs was a great love and they were the best of friends and partners in all things.
Diane is survived by the love of her life, Jerry Lewin Her husband of 52 Years. Her Children, Scott (Angie) Lewin of Florida, Jerry (Jodi) Lewin of Lincoln, and Angela (Mike) Brainard of Scribner. And special daughter, Annette Lewin of Omaha.
We would like to list her grandchildren as they were the light of her life.
Scott's children, Jason (Megan) Lewin, Amanda Lewin, Emily Lewin, Austin Lewin, Alexis Lewin, Donovan Chastain, Cory Chastain, Kamryn Chastain.
Jerry's Child, Lira Lewin.
Angela's children, Alex (Ty) Austin, Joshua McMillen, and Cassedy Brainard. And her Great Grandson, Tate Austin.
There will be a private family service at Ludvigsen's Scribner Funeral Chapel.
